In the past, the so-called hypothetical approach was taken to elucidating changes in the global water cycle, whereby a hypothesis was established and then verified thereafter. However, analysis by existing methods is currently inadequate due to the explosive increase in data volume resulting from recent developments in observation technologies and the diversity of analysis methods. Furthermore, recent developments in IT have led to systems that can process massive data volumes at high speeds and enabled the visualization of various data over the Web.

Accordingly, this system links with large-scale data archives packaged on DIAS, and enables correlation analysis of the target data after 2D statistical analysis. This facilitates the execution of effective analysis and the visualization of results by simple operations using a Web-packaged interface.

The data available on this system is time-series data for varied parameters in the same region and resolution.
